Where did the time go?

When it comes to our children, sometimes we think "it seems like they were just born, and now look at how grown up they are." Time passes so quickly and before you know it, our children are out of diapers, starting school, running around with their friends, and then graduating. Then we ask ourselves, "Where did the time go?"

I'm sure this mom is asking herself the same thing when she looks at her beautiful daughter. I was lucky enough to be able to capture this milestone in her life.... 8th grade graduation. Great things are ahead of you.... enjoy every minute of it... and keep smiling!

1 + 1 = 2

She's a teacher.... so when they went on their first date, instead of bringing her flowers, he brought her a shiny red apple. She was smitten... and he was in love. That's how it all started so to keep with the theme of their lives, they chose the school where she teaches to have their wedding. And, what a wedding it was! The entire wedding party, parents, grandparents.... everyone wore converse sneakers. They had several flower girls.... two of them were their very own puppies pulled down the aisle in custom made wagon.
The playground made the perfect setting for some playful wedding shots. Here's to Scott and Katie .... keep laughing, keep smiling, and keep having fun together! Congratulations.... here's a little sneak peek for you!

Outnumbered

Here's a sneak peek of a beautiful family of five..... the Dad is just a bit outnumbered by the precious girls around him..... I'm quite sure he wouldn't have it any other way! :) Here's to wonderful families, fall days, and great photographs to share!

Erin and Mark.... lifetime of happiness

Congratulations to Erin and Mark who got married on a very windy weekend at the Victorian Veranda Country Inn in Lawrence, Kansas. The setting of the wedding was beautiful with its floral vines, country accents, and even a circle of doves who appeared during the ceremony. Here's a sneak peek of their beautiful day.... Erin was a gorgeous bride and Mark, a very handsome groom. Again, congratulations and best wishes for a lifetime of happiness.

Skipping

I couldn't wait to edit some photos for the sneak peek from this very recent engagement session.... they are too cute! They smiled and laughed the entire time which of course makes my job easier for sure. These too are so in love and so gitty that at any moment, I thought they just might hold hands and start skipping! I can't wait for their wedding next January. Friends..... always.

We went to grade school together... kindergarten through 8th grade and she was my best friend. :) That means we shared a lot together.... feathered hair, "snowball" dances at the skating rink, first "loves"... and so much more.

I told her when I saw her that she hadn't changed a bit.... and it's true.... her and her family are just as beautiful as ever and I was so glad to finally see her again.

I was happy to get to photograph her family and her boys..... and they are allllllll boy for sure! Oh, and, we had to get Russell the dog in there too! Here's a sneak peek, Kim.... enjoy..... we'll be friends always. :)

Fall Feeling
