Cool by the Pool!

The thing I love most about photographing high school seniors is that they are all different. Different personalities and different interests makes my job exciting and new each day. So, when Devin said he was a swimmer, I was super excited to get some cool shots by the pool! My goal with every senior is to really capture their personality and to make EVERY session different. You'll notice that no high school senior will ever have the same background or the same pose when they book a session with me. So, Devin, enjoy your sneak peek...more to come!

Growing up...

There's so much truth in saying that time goes by fast and that children grow up before your eyes. I remember these two kiddos when they were just babies... and now look at them. Simply beautiful.... and so is there mom! Enjoy this little sneak peek. Much more to come... I love all of them!

Remember this couple from a few weeks ago.... you know, the one's who just wouldn't stop kissing? Well, I just wanted to share a few more moments from their day. They are a beautiful couple with a loving family and very fun friends. Enjoy..... the day was amazing.

Senior of the Month - Andrew, Royal Valley

Meet Andrew... the first of many "Seniors of the Month" who will be showcased on the blog and facebook page. Andrew was so great as his session.... all 6"3" of him! :) He's a football player for Royal Valley and is looking forward to a super season this year. He's also a rockin' guitar player... playin' since he was 12. He busted out some Jimmy Hendricks during the session for me and I must say it made me wish that I would have kept taking lessons back in the day.

Little Miss Sydnee

Her smile is contagious! Meet little Miss Sydnee.... a 6 year old full of spunk and super smiles! We had fun at the session and she was simply a natural in front of the camera.... maybe that's her "diva" side her mom was talking about. Enjoy the sneak peek! More to come!

Adventure!

This session was an adventure to say the least.... from skunks crossing our path, to deer, blown transformers, storms and uh... one other thing that I'm choosing NOT to mention (shhhh, Shelby and LeAnne!) .... Girl after my own heart

Meet Kelsey.... she's a beautiful girl inside and out and I couldn't have been happier to be the photographer of her senior portraits. She loves photography (LOVE THAT!) and she loves life, her boyfriend, and little Rolo (her pooch) so we incorporated all of them into a wonderful session. OMG!

They walked through the door and I instantly fell in love.... with those cheeks! OH MY GOSH! I just couldn't get over how cute he was! And, you could tell his momma just adored him to pieces! Senior Sneak!

This senior was a natural behind the camera and I'm super excited to show him this little sneak peek. It was a fun afternoon just hanging out looking for just the perfect locations for his session. Too Cute!

Cute. The first word that came to mind when I met with this family for their session... then, it changed to "too cute", "adorable", and "precious" just to name a few.

True Character

I posted this quote on my facebook page the other day... "Personality can open doors, but only character can keep them open."

When I met this senior for her session, that quote rang so true. She has beautiful character. She holds her family in high regard and her kindness was shown time and time again throughout the few hours that I spent with her.

She's anxiously awaiting the start of her senior year amidst the trials and struggles she's recently faced. It was genuinely fun to hang out with her .... she's a great girl and I wish her the best for her last year in high school.
